The recently built roomy attractive detached dwelling set over two floors, boasts four bedrooms (one of which being a large double). The largest bedroom is located on the first floor adjacent to the main bathroom. This bedroom has beautiful views over the valley and part of East Hill. Thre single bedrooms are located on the ground floor, one of which some residents utilise as a study instead of a bedroom. The large lounge adjacent to the kitchen and staircase is very comfortably fitted out including ornate fixtures and fire place.
The staircase leads to a viewing galley, and is lit up by several natural daylight roof lights. The property contains numerous storage cupboards including an external masonary cupboard. There is a cloakroom on the ground floor containing a w.c. and wash basin.
The light and airey kitchen/diner contains all mod cons set out below.
The property is extremely light and airey and built to a very high standard.
Plenty of parking at the property with dusk to dawn lighting.
The property is wheelchair accessible to the ground floor.

The South East England/Sussex region

Hastings is very close to the town of Battle which is well known for "the battle of Hastings" that took place there in 1066.
The Historic town of Rye is 11 miles away.
 
There are a lot of places to visit with historical internest and Castles, including Hever Castle and Gardens, Bodiam Castle and Leeds Castle.  All are very interesting and worth a visit.
If Railways are of interest to you there is the Kent & East Sussex Railway. From the market town of Tenterden in Kent to Bodiam, East Sussex. Vintage steam and heritage diesel trains datinf from Victorian times will transport you back in time.

If wine or beer are your interest, there are many vineyards and Brewery Tours at the Shepherd Neame Brewery in Faversham, Kent.

Canterbury Cathedral is worth a visit and can easily be reached for a day visit.
 
The newly opened LAPLAND UK is just 18 miles away at Lamberhurst, Bewl Water park for the whold family to enjoy.
 
Eastbourne and Brighton are within easy reach, where there are many more attractions.
 
Hastings, Sussex - Area.
 
 The new town centre 1.50 miles away.  The main seafront approx 1.3 mile away, attractions are:- The Shipwreck Heritage Centre, Fisherman's Museum, Underwater World Aquarium, Miniature Railway, Boating Lake & Putting Greens.
There are several Country parks for beautiful coastal walks.
The White Rock Theatre opposit the famous pier is a short walk along the sea front, which is Host to many good shows with musical and comedy stars.
The East Cliff railway take you to Hastings Country Park, where the views are spectacular.
The West Cliff railway takes you to the top of the Cliff where you can find the Smugglers Caves, Hastings Castle and the "1066" story.
The old town of Hastins is 1 mile from the holiday home and has many antique shops, tea rooms, bistros and restaurants.
In nearby Battle, a beautiful old town, you can tour the castle and learn all about the  "battle of Hastings".

How to get there.
Nearest airport is Gatwick, although Heathrow and Statsted are easily accessible from the M25.
From the M25 leave at Junction 5 and travel to Hastings on the A21 all the way.
 
Dover /Folkestone ferry port is approx 1 hr to 1 1/2 hours drive from Hastings.
 
Ashford International Train link to Paris on the Eurostar is 1 hr drive away.

All male or female parties will only be considered, when given full information on expected occupants.
We do not accept Stag Parties or Hen Parties.
This is essentially family accommodation.
 
Prices are as follows.
 
Low Season              21 Nov 09   to   19 Dec 09                £300 weekly
Xmas                        19 Dec 09    to  26 Dec 09                 £500 weekly
New Year                  26 Dec 09   to    2 Jan 10                  £500 weekly
Low Season               2 Jan 10    to   13 Feb 10                 £300 weekly
1/2 Term break         13 Feb 10   to   20 Feb 10                 £350 weekly
Low Season              20 Feb 10  to     3 Apr 10                  £300 weekly

To book a holiday we require 1/3rd Holiday cost as a deposit to confirm booking and the rest of the cost 8 weeks or more before start of holiday.
For average size families, we also require returnable £100 cash deposit for each week booked, together with the 1/3rd payment, this is used against breakages. We also require on booking 10% as a deposit against the services, ie., gas, electric, water etc.  ie If booking for one week at the £300 rate then £30 deposit for services, if booking for two weeks at £300 rate =  £60 to go against services.
We read the meters on arrival and on leaving.
 
We do not accept Stag or Hen parties. The owners reserve the right to decline a booking.
 
If you wish to book for two families together or over four adults please check with the owners for pricing.
 
Our change over day is Saturday 4pm and 11am departures. This is to give us enough time to prepare for the next family arriving.
Arrival times later than this must be agreed with the owners.
